I have been involved in dog breeding for more than 60 years. My first dog with pedigree was a brindle boxer named Astra El Faruko, with whom I completed 6 performance tests and who was the foundation of my breeding kennel Ja-Pe-Ko CS (later Moravia Ja-Pe-Ko). With other dogs (boxers), I passed 25 performance tests ranging from ZM to ZVV2, as well as rescue tests and avalanche tests. I have participated in various dog competitions and events with my dogs. For many years, I also served as a performance judge. In the past, I held many positions, including Chairman of the Boxer Club of the Czech Republic branch, Chairman of the ZO ČKS, Chairman of the Moravian-Silesian Club of Maltese and Bolognese Dogs, and a member of the Exterior Judges Commission of the Czech-Moravian Kennel Union, among others. I am an honorary member of many dog clubs.
I have been an exterior judge since 1984. Gradually, I expanded my qualifications for various breeds and groups. In 2002, I was appointed a judge for all FCI breeds (All-Round). Currently, I focus solely on judging at dog shows. I organized a regional dog show called the Silesian Dog Show, which we hold in Hlučín.
I have judged at all types of dog shows, from club, special, regional, and national shows to European and World Shows.
I judge dog shows in English, German, Russia, Polish, and Slovak. I have judged dog shows in Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Bulgaria, China, Denmark, Estonia, the Philippines, Finland, Georgia, Croatia, India, Ireland, Italy, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malta, Moldova, Germany, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Austria, Romania, Russia, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.
In addition to judging, I hold the position of an expert witness in the field of agriculture, specifically in canine and economics.
Throughout my entire dog breeding life, I have met not only interesting people but, above all, I have come to know almost all dog breeds that exist in the FCI. Cynology and traveling are my passions to which I currently devote all my time.
