Ing. Hana Pankova
I am Hana Pankova and I live with my family and our ridgebacks near Prague, Czech Republic. At this moment I have 4 ridgeback girls and 1 lagotto romagnolo at home.
In 2008 my kennel Qwandoya has been established with goal to breed healthy, quality dogs that are balanced in both character and exterior according to standard. First Qwandoya litter was born in 2010 and that started my breeding passion. In the same year I started to work for the club as breeding advisor. Eight years later, in 2018 I have become president of Czech Rhodesian Ridgeback Club (CKRR). For me ridgeback is not only fantastic companion but versatile dog suitable for training, sport and various activities. Ridgeback is dog perfectly balanced in all aspects, elegant and harmonic.
I´m trying to transfer my ideals/ opinion about ridgeback to my own breeding program and together with health and strong stable character (which are extremely important for me). I am proud to say that so far I have bred more than 30 champions of many countries (Czech republic, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Slovakia, Germany, Croatia, Slovenia, Hungary, Poland, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia), as well as interchampions C.I.B., grandchampions and BIS winners under Qwandoya prefix. Qwandoya ridgebacks are very succesfull also in working field (nosework, obedience, dog dancing, agility) and what I am especially proud about – in canistherapy.
I have always liked shows and showing dogs. I finished my judging licence in January 2020 and from that moment I had honour to judge shows in Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Slovakia, Poland or Croatia. I love rhodesian ridgebacks and opportunity to judge them is like an honour.
I would like to sincerely thank CMKU for the nomination for judging at EDS 2025. I consider it a great honour and I am already looking forward to judging at such a prestigious event. I wish the organizing team much success!
