Animals, plants and, in fact, all of nature accompanied me through my childhood. However, it wasn't until some 20 years ago that a dog named Chulli Bajami changed my whole life. Thanks to him, I became at first an exhibitor, then a breeder, a member of the committee of the KCHMPP club, an organiser of exhibitions and finally I became a dog show judge.
My kennel is called Chulli Bohemia, originally I was breeding the Moscow longhaired toy terrier, but now, after the recognition of the FCI, the breed’s name changed to Russian toy. My litters live in many different countries and I’m thrilled that some of my bitches have helped expand the breeding of Russian toys across the Western Europe. It’s thanks to my four-legged babies that I also gained many foreign friends and practiced speaking English.
It was in 2005 when I first helped with the organisation and promotion of the FCI exhibition of unrecognized breeds. At that time, most of our national breeds still belonged there - Bohemian shepherd, Bohemian spotted dog, Bohemian mountain dog and Prague ratter. I’m a patriot, I cheer for Czech national breeds and I love judging them. I was very pleased when the FCI temporarily recognized the Bohemian shepherd and the Prague ratter back in 2019.
