I have grown up with dogs since childhood, there was always at least one in our family. My
parents bred Medium Poodles, but my dream was always to have a herding breed. In 1984 I
bought my first bobtail and then, in 1986, I founded the kennel "Modrý kaňon", which is still active
today. Thanks to the care of the coat of this beautiful breed, I started to deal with dog grooming,
which became my occupation and has been so for more than 30 years. After the revolution and
during the following years I managed, apart from foreign matings, to import several bobtails to the
Czech Republic, which were a great benefit to our breeding. From my kennel came many
champions and interchampions, a European winner and a winner of the Euro Oes Show, the
most prestigious bobtail show in Europe. Excellent exterior, excellent movement, balanced and
friendly nature and health of the breed are the main goals of my breeding. I have always tried to
ensure that my breedings are primarily a joy for their new owners. I have been fascinated by dog
shows since childhood, which I participated in as a little girl with my parents. At that time I was
showing our female medium poodle and I wanted to be a judge as well. Having achieved this, I
have been since 1999 a national judge for the Old English Sheepdog breed and an international
FCI judge since 2006. Today I judge the entire FCI 1, FCI 3 and FCI 5 groups. I am regularly
delegated to international, national and club shows in the Czech Republic, but also
internationally. I had the honor of judging the European Dog Show in 2014 and the World Dog
Show in 2021, which were held in Brno. In addition to my breeding and judging activities, I also
actively work in breeding clubs. I was the central breeding advisor at the Bobtail Club for 15
years, where I am now the president. I am also the vice-president of the Samoyed Club, a
member of the 1st Boston Terrier Club, the German Spitz Breeders Club, the Fox Terrier Club,
and a long-time member of the Supervisory Board of ČMKU.
