Short CV:
Dogs have always been part of Gerard’s life and as from 1976 especially Afghan Hounds. Around 1985 he started to show dogs and had many (International & national) championships mostly in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Becoming more and more interested in dogs, Gerard started to his cynological study in 1990 and in 1995 he did his first exam for the Afghan Hound. Ten years later, 2006, he is judge of all -FCI group 10- breeds, the Sight hounds. At this moment he is also group judge of -FCI group 5- all breeds of the Spitz and primitive types, -FCI group 1-  all breeds of the Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs and some breeds of FCI group 2, 3, 8 and 9. Gerard judged in many European countries, Africa, Asia, Australia and North & South America at national and international Dog shows (including FCI European and FCI World Dog Show’s) Champion of Champion shows, many breed specialties and title shows. 
Since 1994 he showed successfully his Afghans Hounds with the kennel name “El Harakat”. Afghan Hounds from “El Harakat” are all over the world like France, USA, Germany, Switzerland, Israel and Denmark etc.
