International FCI Judge group 5,6 | Breeder | Scenthound Specialist
I have been deeply involved in the dog world for many years, with a particular passion for scenthounds. My breeding journey began in 2008 with my first Bloodhound. As she needed a companion, I “accidentally” brought home a Porcelaine—at that time an almost unknown and very rare breed in the Czech Republic. This moment became a turning point in my life and breeding career.
Gradually, our pack expanded to include three more Porcelaines, and to date I have bred eleven litters of this breed. My breeding work focuses strongly on reviving and maintaining imported bloodlines, which is essential for the preservation and healthy development of rare breeds. It is a great honor and pleasure that dogs from my kennel have contributed to establishing strong breeding foundations in the USA, as well as achieving success in countries such as Sweden, England, and others.
Dogs from my breeding have been highly successful at international, European, and World Dog Shows. I firmly believe these achievements are closely linked to the growing community of breeders and enthusiasts who actively contribute to the development and promotion of the Porcelaine breed.
I am a member of the Scenthound Club of the Czech Republic and regularly participate in dog shows throughout Europe. I have personally imported several additional breeds from France, including Poitevin, with which I bred the historically first litter east of France. I also helped introduce Gascon Saintongeois to friends in regions where the breed had not previously existed, such as Bohemia and Slovakia. Among other breeds I have helped introduce in our homeland are Basset bleu de Gascogne and the very rare Ukrainian Odis breed (non-FCI).
Currently, I am also actively breeding Basset Fauve de Bretagne.
Since 2018, I have been an FCI judge. I first specialized in the Porcelaine breed and am now an International FCI Judge for Groups 5 and 6, while continuing my studies for FCI Group 8. I have judged numerous national and international, club dog shows in the Czech Republic and abroad, including events in Italy, Denmark, Germany, Poland, as well as major shows such as WDS 2021 and EDS 2025.
I strongly believe that the mission of every breeder and dog lover is to contribute something meaningful and to help ensure that the community of hound breeders and dog enthusiasts continues to grow and thrive.
Motto:
“Dogs are not our whole life, but thanks to them, our life is complete.”
